BeoVox 5000 Wall Mounted Speakers (1988)

Description

Designed by Gideon Lindinger-Lowy, the BeoVox 5000 may look more like works of art than high-specification loudspeakers. Because of their timeless and elegant shape they are still a highly sought after Bang & Olufsen Classic. However performance matches beauty and even at full volume, they keep the total sound picture in perfect balance. Because of their looks, they were known as Bang & Olufsen’s range of “panel loudspeakers”. Panel loudspeakers were one of the most exciting and interesting examples of how Bang & Olufsen united advanced technology and stunning design to achieve totally new effects.

Condition

These super cool, retro speakers, are in amazing condition and full working order, sounding absolutely fantastic. The grey/silver marl fret has a few small holes/tears but thanks to the texture of the fabric these cannot be seen without very close inspection. These are most clearly shown if you hover over Photo 5. There are some very faint, light scratches to the aluminium casing, some can be seen in photo 1. There is also a dent on one corner of one back frame, shown in photo 7. As Vintage pieces they really are in superb condition.

These imposing speakers mount easily on the wall (brackets included) and truly are a statement piece. Size: 45 x 101 x 8 cm.
