Description:

Externally, two extra sockets were all that was noticeable to show the presence of the additions, one for the ML connection and one for the “Beolink Eye”, a small round wall unit that contained an infrared receiver and some simple controls for timer, standby and volume. 

The most successful way of dispensing with the need for the MCL 2 A/V and a lot of wiring is to connect the ML cable from the master system to the Beolink Passive and to connect the “eye” and the loudspeakers indoors or out.  The master system can then be controlled with a suitable remote control unit (e.g. Beo 4) in the linked room, with full source selection and independent volume control.  If the remote control is not to hand the basic controls can be regulated using the infrared “eye”. 

Condition

Good cosmetic condition – there are some very small marks on the item but very hard to see. Great looking bit of kit, very easy to hang on the wall with two screws, or to tuck away in a corner.
