BeoCenter 2300 from the range of Bang & Olufsen “magic door systems” has to be one of the more striking designs. With its aluminium polished face, the system is designed to take on the colour of its surrounding environment. There are various mounting options available for the system including a BeoSound wall bracket and floor stands but the system can also simply be placed on a table or sideboard. Storing favourite CDs titles, or permanently skipping unwanted tracks are just some of the functions available. The BeoCenter 2300 doesn’t include a Masterlink connection but does include Powerlink connections meaning that connecting to any of the current B&O 2014 Active Loudspeakers is a breeze, including the classic BeoLab 8000 to the newer BeoLab 18. The system was eventually surpassed by BeoSound 3000 when it included more features and received a facelift in 2001.
